Origin: Aydın Province, Aegean Turkey

Picked at peak ripeness in the Aegean valley of Aydin and laid out to dry under open sun for up to ten days, these figs concentrate into a chewy, honeyed sweetness with a fine crystalline crunch of natural sugar at the centre. No syrup, no added sulphur — just fruit and sunlight.
