Mamra Almonds

The rarest almond in the world, wild-harvested in the Hindu Kush.

Origin: Hindu Kush region, sourced via Kashmir

Mamra almonds grow slowly on unirrigated, rain-fed trees, which concentrates their natural oils into a texture that is denser and a flavour that is markedly richer than commercial California varieties. Each kernel is hand-sorted for size and shell integrity, then lightly air-dried to preserve its buttery, faintly sweet finish. Served best a few hours after cracking, on their own or alongside aged cheese.
