Dried Turkish Apricots

Soft, tangy-sweet apricots from the orchards of Malatya.

Origin: Malatya Province, Turkey

Malatya's high-altitude orchards produce apricots with an unusually deep amber colour and a balance of tang and sweetness that holds up even after drying. Ours are pitted by hand and left un-sulphured, so the colour runs slightly darker than supermarket varieties — a sign of a more honest dry.
